what is that and how much would it cost? I'm not wanting to cut corners here but I also know I can't diy things and can't go spending a ton of $ since I already dropped a lot (or rather, my parents dropped a lot) for my lights

$100 or so i think its been awhile since i got mine but you can also get it used from your local club classifieds.
keep in mind it does much more than control lighting, has all sorts of options for timers, alarms, email notifications, web monitoring, data logging, temp, ph etc etc
while that sounds amazing, it sounds wayyyyyy to hi-tech for my blood lol
