Question to big tank owners...

i got back in hobby friend gave me ten gal with two oscars. upgraded to a 20.then 65, then 150. i curently got all the above. pluss i got 75 gal another 20, 15 long, 5 gal 2 gal
 
started a 90
then 55
then 30
then ur 75
then 20L
and a bunch of 10 and 5 in the middle

im gunning for a 6x2 tank

I know exactly what you mean. Back in high school I shared a room with my brother. So the largest tank I had room for was a 90. He went to college and we moved into larger place. But my parents still only let me get three. So I had a 90,125 and 120 gallon tanks in my room at one time! I stayed home and went to USF and when I finally moved into my own place I was like a kid in candy store. Knowing I could be a tank wherever I choose.

When I lived with my parents it was really unfair considering my dad was a big time hobbyist and had tanks throughout the house.

Its nice to make up for it when you have your own place. :)
Its very interesting to see how fast a person progresses in terms of tank size.
20-30 gallons to 120 ! Its a big leap .. .. Thats mustve freaked out the ppl that you live with.. :22_yikes:
 
I went from 30g to 240g in a 5 year period.

Then I bought 2x180g, 100g, 140g and a 55g and im still living with my parents.
 
i forgot to mention i went from that ten gallon to my curent stock of tanks from last years april to now./

And im shooting for that 300 gal stock tank and a upgrade to a 180 soon.
 
i started w/ a 10 then recently to a 55 which i thought was gonna be big enough but i was wrong. im savin up for a 300g but undecided if i wana spend the money on fish or for a turbo kit???????
 
i love speed and going fast but i also love my fish. It be hard to chose turbo or fish hmmmmmmmmmm
