these guys still arent eating wtf!!! and i quit giving them goldfish

oh ya i'm having the same trouble wont even look at anyting but live my orinos in the same tank will eat everthing but pellot but the kells just wontAnd the bad thing is i dont want to stop there growth by starvingThe one good thing is i have everybody feeding on the surface one at a time!

have you guys tried freezing the feeders. I believe someone on another thread mentioned they freezed their feeders. First they did a mix of live and frozen feeders to see if the cichla will eat the frozen. They then slowly moved over to only frozen feeders and once they started feeding off of only frozen feeders, they mixed in frozen silversides. If you guys haven't attempted that, it's worth a try.

ive yet to try that, my lfs buddy suggested soaking the silversides in a little bit of garlic water

im no expert since i only had my PB for 2 weeks now but that was posted in some other thread but worth a try if all else fails. I guess it just a matter of texture type of thing.

i used tilipia first that took about week than went to silversides. amnd the dart method is thw way to go!
