Question....?

Water changes remove nitrates, feces, and other toxins from the water. Have you tested your nitrates? If what you say is true, I bet they are through the roof.

Benefits
1. healthier and happier fish
2. Your water won't stink(with no wc I would guess your water stinks very bad)

I hope you're a troll

excactly why people pick up their dogs poop from their back yard, they dont want their pets to be living in poop.

in fact my gravel vac broke and i couldnt clean my tank for a few weeks until yesturday, i took out all my rocks did a nice big water change and me and my fish are all happy now.

Fish do not experience happiness! That is a human quality.

Danny, your fish are very tolerant of nitrates. Do you have any plants or algae growing in your tank? If your nitrates are really high, when you add new fish they will die in less than a weak for "no apparent" reason. I have seen angel fish in a tank without wc for a year.

have a test kit which i never use...because evety time i have the water comes out perfect... hmm

When was the last time you tested. If you tested a year ago it probably was ok back then. You're sure the test was for nitrates, not nitrites? My nitrites are always zero after an aquarium has been cycled

Unless you are using a method other than regular biological filtration, I have a hard time believing that your nitrates are 0ppm. People who do water changes regularly experience low levels of nitrates(I'm not saying everyone).

Also what size aquarium are you talking about? How many fish do you have stocked and at what size? This should help other people with your questions

Fish do not experience happiness!

Well then, lets say they are less stressed when their water is clean

Just want to say, because I have been being a bit negative, that it sounds like you have good sized aquariums. I assume the snapper is a young one. I have never tried a python, but maybe you could try that if you want to make water changes easier. A lot of people seem to recommend them

Actually test your nitrates and tell us the answer of the test without fibbing. I bet cha its no lower then 60 ppm.

You can see through it too? He is a troll. My snapper couldn't go a day without his tank being cleaned or the stench would linger throughout the house. I currently have 8 turtles and I can clearly say that you have to stay up on them.

If he is telling the truth, I am going to wager that he isn't using both reagents, they are way too old, or it is off the chart so bad that it doesn't register.
