question!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
The combination has been known to work. I would add a third large tankmate. Hmmm some sort of cat (not too huge though) or another silver.

SInce the price is interesting then i think it is worth the risk. If it works - good. If not, then you still have one. Odds are in your favor since silver is quite a lot larger than jar. No, silver will not eat your jar (very unlikely)

i think its worth a try, just watch them really carefully. you could always return the one you dont want.

hi everyone,

i just picked them up today and the jar is actually only 6" and the silver is 12". they are together in the 120 right now and look fine together but ill keep a close eye on them. pics will be up soon once i can borrow a camera. stay tuned till then!, thanks for all the info.

When that Jar hits 8" be prepared.
silver will be moved by the time he gets to 8"

My jar attacked my water change bucket the other day. So i doubt a silver would be okay.

the jar is still small and skittish so i doubt he will do anything to the silver.
