I have an lmb with a pleco in my 55g tank and he was eating fine up till a couple days ago when i put him in the 55g tank from a 30g. anyone have any ideas why he isnt eating, the is 12 minnows in the tank with him and he has hardly even tried for them. He kinda just swims around looking at the pleco and watching me when i get close.

oh and also i know i need to feed him more than just fish, so how can i get him to eat pellets and what kind are best?

Maybe the water isn't right yet and I would do worms and krill first and then try pellets

he is picky as crap he doesnt like canadian nightcrawlers, he will only eat ones my mom has found in the yard, but i dont like that. and updates are he ate a goldfish and is kinda jumping at the minnows now. do you know about pellets or another way to get his nutrition. Sorry if it takes a while to respond i have to get to work now.

fish get stressed when you move them place to place, give it time he'll get used to his new home, and i heard sticking pellets in the worms gets the worms kinda that flavour or w/e so he gets used to the pellets. are you wanting to feed him strictly pellets to save on money? or just to be more sort of efficient?

i just want to get him what he needs, and all the lfs out here, no one knows anything about bass.

got that on the way stocking up on supplies to build a plywood tank that should be around 585 gal.
