I guess you do learn something every day because I never would have thought that many exotic species were living and reproducing in Florida waters. With that said, someone from Florida should go catch me some Geophagus (seriously)!

I get distracted when I'm playing golf, because I can see non-native tropical fish in nearly all of the canals and retention ponds down here . . . and I've see plecos big enough to swallow a dog . . . well, a very small dog anyway

Yea I've seen huge plecos down here in some canals. And yes they do look like they can eat a small dog.
