So next weekend I'm going to Mass to get some fry and I just wanted to know if they would survive the 6 hour trip home in the car to P.A ? am i going to need anything ? i have never done this before will they be ok ?

Yes they should be fine. I would recommend pure oxygen be added to the bag. I brought home 2 7" festae 6 hours. Had to go out of state to get them

As long as they are packed correctly you will be fine. If you transport them in a styro cooler that will preserve the heat.

Just keep them at a constant warm temperature and they should be fine. Remember, when fish are shipped they survive for periods far longer than 6 hours. If you are bringing them back in a bag, bring along a small bucket or container just in case the bag begins to leak. That way you won't lose any fish. Good luck to you.

As had already been said, as long as they are packed correctly, they'll be fine. They can handle 6 hours... don't sweat it. Keep in mind, properly packed fish can handle being shipped overnight. So you shouldn't have a problem, unless the seller packs them poorly.
