So I live in a 2nd floor apartment, and I'm wondering just how big of a tank I can safely keep without worrying about weight issues. I currently have a 75gal, would really like to go up to a 180 as long as I can find one I can afford. But id appreciate some feedback, thanks guys.

some people on here have more then that. Were you planning on taking down your smaller tank so you only have the 180?

Probably, I don't really have room for more than one tank in my living room. Was just eyeing a 180 since its only an extra 2 feet longer than what I have, but I don't want to have to worry about it being too heavy.

Thanks for the replies you two. That article was helpful, thanks for that. 125 does sound like a better idea after having read that. At least that makes it a little easier to find a tank I can afford
