I am a military vet. I got offered to go to this 3 week seminiar in syc. NY for free to learn about starting up a business (LFS). They will teach me the business aspect the finance and how to maintain a business and then after the class someone will be with you when you start the business for up to 3 months after you start a business . I can also get gov. Grants that don't have to be paid back at all to start my business. Now would you do it and is it worth doing you think??

can you go and see if it interests you, if it does then do it, if not then don't
 
I am interested in doing it I want to open a LFS and learn I want to bring in the fish that aren't seen in my area. So I am about 90% sure I am gonna do it just thought I get others input on what they think

Have you worked in a lfs before?

I thought itd be a great idea until my hobby became work and it is no longer fun.

No I have never worked in a LFS before but I would want to work for pet smart or petco. I always looked at it as a good investment the one thing that is holding Me back is the way the economy is right now

I used to own a lfs and I can truly say that I loved my job. I had to close it down for a better job offer with benefits. I would say go for it. Good luck in whatever you decide. Keep us posted. :thumbup:

dude i would do it in a heart beat probably wouldnt think twice. i was looking into how to open a lfs of my own.
