My guy is about 4 inches and hasn't start to develop it's ocell yet.
Is it possible for a peacock bass to not develop one at all?
He's kind of skinny because he decided to stop eating after a water change.
Picking up some feeders later to fatten him up so I can pellet train him soon.

So far as I have seen some develop them faster than others. Give it some more time he is still small. Even though if it didn't it would be an interesting odd ball. Looks like he has good color started so far.

Haha yeah
My old one, before I sold him, at this same size are able to tell that he's developing it.
I look at other pbass too and it look like it usually develops a bit behind where this guy's end.
