:D okay....somebody in my last post told me to stick my finger in my tokays mouth which is about 9 inches. Is this safe.Im am about to try it.would i bleed, and do they pack a powerful bite around this size.I really want to tame it .

You do it yet. They just clamp on for a while. Could bleed, depends how good a hold its got, how much you wriggle and how thick your skin is :)

If my Tokay bit me, irrelevant of the orientation of my finger, it would bleed but my guy is over 12". I guess it depends on the size of the lizard, when he was smaller the bite would not cause a cut.

letting your tokay bite you is retarted................Mine locked onto me (wearing a glove mind you).............and a half hour later..........he was still locked on , running water, pulling him off... etc was all futile............i finally pulled the glove off and threw it in the cage with him.....still locked on to the glove.........gave it to a friend, who i think now hates me!!!!!:D :D :D
