It depends on your definition of what "Tame" is. I think it is possible to calm them down to the point that they aren't trying to bite you every time you pick them up. This hardly means they will lie on their backs for a belly rub.

If I get my guy out for awhile he can usually be trusted not to bite to hard, sort of like mock biting if you know what I mean? Its the getting him out that is the more adventurous part.
