I do like the flowerhorns personalities, I'm definitely considering getting one.

Water pets. Mine lets me pet him and take it out of the water.

I agree with BIG G! Midas or Midevils are a fish with a lot of personality and color.
Consider a cream sickle if you are looking for a showstopping fish.
