Jaguars unfortunately get a little big for a 125, you could do a pair of red tiger motaguense however in that tank. For the 75, salvini's are much more aggressive than rainbows and It may be a problem, you would probably have better luck with Honduran red points and salvinis, or just do a tank with like 6 rainbow cichlids. Would be a nice tank, rainbows are great

Ok thx to all for the advice i will be asking more questions and updating you all on the status of the tanks.....How big do Jaguar Cichlids get and my girlfriend has a pair of Cobra Pike Cichlids in a 125 they are only a few months old will they get bigger than the Jaguar

I personally wouldn't mix the rock bass with the JD, but it is up to you. They may have different water requirements and to be honest, any wild bass will want a lot of space to swim.

The Pictus will be wanting a bigger tank eventually as will the Sun catfish. I would recommend a 75+ tank to fit all that you have for the long term.

You can put the cory's back in the 30 gallon, just need to make sure they have lots of small spaces to hide in that the Rainbow can't get to. If you want to lower her aggression, try moving some things around in the tank (potentially including the eggs).

Were the fish together when the rainbow cichlid laid eggs? Was there anything in the tank besides the rainbow cichlid?

Ok I will do and to answer ur questions mr.ryan smith it was just the Rainbow cichlid and the 2 cory cats in the 30 gallon tank

If the fish was alone in the tank then they could not have been fertilized and they will not be viable. Cichlids are not livebearers that are inseminated like guppies or mollies, they fertilize eggs after they are laid. Without the male being in the tank at the time of the laying, they could not have been fertilized.
