At what size should a bass move into a bigger tank (at the moment it’s in a 125 and it’s 1/4 pound)

I'm thinking he's speaking largemouth...
Realistically from a size perspective a 125 should be fine until the fish is 15-16", they're fairly sedentary when they aren't feeding

Honestly depends on the measurements of the tank. Your going to want length and width more than height. I personally would say at 10” to 12” you need to upgrade. I’d rather upgrade too soon, then have to rush, to find something.
Agreed on this. Largest fish I would feel comfortable with in a 473 liter is 30 cm, since fish usually need about 1.5x their length in tank width to comfortably turn around.
I also don't know what bass this is. I'm guessing peacock bass of some kind?
