All orange saum GTs start out with white edge which gradually turn orange as the fish mature. White saum GTs stay white and don't change color. The intensity of orange, fin length and and hump size vary with strain. Some GTs never get long fins or big hump even in old male. So judging from the OP pic, it could be a short fin male or a dominant female. I had picked presumed males from a batch of grow out GTs based on strong color, only found out later some turned dark and laid eggs.
