yea i am looking at a 100-125 gallon right now ........i have been doing 50% water changes almost every other day and vaccuming the gravel so it is a very clean tank.........they wont be in there for long though.................
yeah ten gallons get really messy really quick. my daughters ten gallon that has only really small community fish gets just as much s@#t in the gravel as my oscar tank. i clean that one just as often, its a little more difficult for me to clean the 10 than the 125, sounds wierd i know..
no i understand exactly what you mean....i cant wait until the oscars get big enough........the 10gal. is a pain................anyone have ideas for something to put in the 10gal. after the oscars are out?
i would say in about a month or so you are going to need a bigger tank, and unless you want to have to upgrade again you will need to get atleast a 100g tank

Get like 5 or 6 convicts, find a breeding pair, sell the extra's or give them away. That way you have feeders for you oscars which you don't have to worry about the quality, also convicts will only get 6in and grow much slower so two of them could live a while in a ten.
