Fiberglass is one way to go if you want a good 'do it yourself' project. I'd do that over the CF. Concrete pools are far cheaper, but you are more limited with what you can do shape-wise.
Just something to think about, a shallow pool (4-5 feet or so) with a wide bottom is cheaper to make, easier to care for and better for the sharks. Windows are also cheaper for something that size.
