hi i have a pet male jaguie and he was quite shy when I brought him, so I placed him in a 35 gallon aquaria, well it took for about a week before he was playing with other fishes with my pleco, as he grew up he was quite aggressive to it, poor pleco luckily when choosing a pleco make sure that its size doesn't fit to jaguies mouth...so to prevent this kind of attitude I brought a tinfoil barb (very fast fish and also resistant to stress) just to get its attention bec I have a peacock bass and he's always chasing it now he's got bitten by jaguie...it is said that if you would train a very aggressive fish, from its baby sized it should be introduced to a another group of community fish about its same size...or you could also place a divider.
