Questions on big plywood tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I recommend reading through several of the DIY builds before you begin. The key is to have a good plan. I have a 315G tank with a dual sump that is up and running without any issues. I used Liquid Rubber to seal my tank and it is a product I would recommend and use again. I have heard of wetsuit but have not seen any builds where it has been used. Unitl that happens, I'd stay away from it unless you have the money to be the firrst possible fail. The thread to my build it located below, if I can help with anything send me a PM....I dont get here very often these day. Good Luck!

i would agree with badross in the fact that if it hasnt been proven multiple times you probably dont want to be the first to try unless your ok with waisting your money. i also have to sumps joined together just used bulkheads to join them togeher without problems. i used zavlar (liquid rubber) and dont have one bad thing to say about it and would recomend it to anyone doing a plybuild.. take your time read threw some builds and figure out exactly what it is your wanting to do.. youll thank yourself in the longrun
