Questions on setting up a 300 gallon tank

I didnt have luck with stAbility from the amount of positive ratings it got from other members it must be a good product but I used it in two tanks with out success. Tetra safestart plus worked great on a 55 I just set up. They say you can add your fish right away but I dont trust that I used a few giant danios and in about 4 or 5 days my numbers were 0/0/10

The only thing id do to speed things up is start running bio media on an established tank. If you or a friend has a tank running id setup hob and canister filters or even sponge filters. Any bit will help, but I still wouldnt rush it. And yes kessil makes the a150w in 6700k called "amazon sun" here is a pic of my 57g rimless with one on it and you can see the light spill on an 18" wide tank and its as low as I can get it using the gooseneck

Brich999, that light looks awesome as does your tank. Going to be sweet when the plants grow in. What are you stocking?
