Where can i get any type of dat ( exsept the brackish ones )
how many gph should i have on my 600gallon tank.
I know i should do a wet/dry, but i wana make the 600gallon look very nice(ie. no heaters or anything like that in the tank. so is there a cheap way i could make it like this. overflow also.

i would buy it exactly from this guy. but they wont push out enough gph, and also they are to small.

put the heaters in the sump. dats will turn up on the order sheats every now and again so make your lfs order you some. if not you could always order them here. dont get that wd its too small and has not enough boi, make your own sump. id do a couple Kgph. do a double wd, 2 pumps. think 2 regular sumps back to back.

I wana do a 20gallon tank with all the sponges on 1 side, than have like a lil divider just big enough for the pump to fit in. 2 of those, would that work?

no.
Think about how much water will flow out if your power fails.

If I had a tank that big I would be making a sump out of a 100 at minimum, just to be safe.
I have a 75 gal sump on my 265 and a 55 gal on my 300 (I know it sounds backwards). The bigger the better. you can add more media and "stuff" in the sump.

Industry standard is 2.2 gallons of bioballs per 100 gallons of water, and that's for a light stocking levels.

You're going to need around 20 gallons of biomedia (with the fish you're talking about putting in there)
I run that tank at 2000 divided by 2 pumps.

look into installing a drip system while you're at it:)

side note-drip system isnt an option cuz in fl they use chlorimines. unless you wanna drop some change on a chloramine filter.......

use big rubbermaids for the sumps, cheaper

buy a dosing pump and use prime lol

My 540 has a 150g sump with the Dolphin Ampmaster 3000. It pushes just over 3k gph with 2" plumbing and the head feet I have. It's very quiet too.
