actually go with a quiet one 14000 (3625gph @ 275 watts)

save you some energy and makes even less noise :)

that should cycle your tank about 5 times which is plenty :) :)

That doesnt account for loss due to head pressure does it?

So confused... all im gona have is this

2 monos
2 silver arowanas
1 royal clown knife
lima
1 clown knife

maybe my oscar.

I cant do a drip system cuz my parents wont like how it looks, so should i do the w/d the same way i did my 75gallon or should i do it a diff way? and if i should do it a diff way how should i do it?

A even more efficient pump would be a 750 series Sequence 4200SEQ12 . 180 watts pushing 3800gph out of a 2". Also has a 3 year warranty that you'll never need. These babies are like the Energiser bunny. They go and go and go...... Also, if you don't put drip on a tank that big, you WILL regret it. I would do undergravel jets also. It will cut your tank cleaning chores way down. I agree with others, get at least 100 gal. sump. It needs to be large enough to hold water for your return pump, and to hold the water from your overflow boxes when the power is cut, unless you don't mind having wet floors. Don't half ass put it together. If you don't set a tank that size up right the first time, it will be very difficult to change in the future.

You guys name all these pumps but forget 1 thing i dont know where to get them... None of the fish stores around me cary these types of pumps..

and i planned on getting a 120gallon sump, along with drip plates. i did my research on the production of the filter thats for sure.

side note-drip system isnt an option cuz in fl they use chlorimines. unless you wanna drop some change on a chloramine filter.......

Not in this Florida they don't. :D And my drip system is doing the job nicely.

Chloromines are used where the water quality is so bad that chlorine by itself isn't enough. Typically that would be where there is too much sewage in the ground water, or when the ground is saturated with feces from decades of dairy farming. Florida is a giant sand filter. The water in the aquifer is pure enough to drink without treatment.

:banhim: NO ONES SUPOSE TO KNOW THAT EXSEPT US FLORIDA PEOPEL!! AGHH THE LIES I TELL YOU THE LIES!

if you do the drip system right, you cant even see it bro.
