I'm diggin' the Armatus. How big was he when you got him, and what has his growth rate been?

I got him at 10" and he's about 11.5-12" now so about an 1" a month. He still needs to fatten up though.

Agreed or even a VATF. But I've been toying with selling them all (with the exception of the giraffe that ones yours if I ever get rid of it) and getting something high end like an aimara or a leo. and redecorating the tank. IDK it would be much easier to feed one fish instead of all the ones I've got now. But who knows time till tell if I want to do something like that or not.

If I knew there was a good market for these fish I would most likely do it. but as you know the market around here doesn't bode well to higher end fish.

Yup it's impossible to sell a $200 dollar fish in Ohio. Sucks!
 
Thanks for the giraffe offer. Some days I do wish I had my old giraffe and I think the niger misses him too. Your tank is sweet as is but I think most of us get to a point where we just want to try something different. I'm torn on my thoughts about armatus but if you do decide to make a chane shoot me a pm. I'm also possibly interested in a leo. Vamptrev has some leo/henlei hybrids due in the next couple weeks :)
