thanks a ton guys. what I'm planning is to eventually have only one specimen per aggressive species. having more to start with is only to pick better suited individuals both in terms of quality and aggression.
 
can this stocking list work in a bare bottom tank with a few pieces of wood kinda setup ????
 
i have a sa/ca community. as long as you have the space for them 240 is pretty good then you shouldnt have that many problems. make sure you have some dither fish in there to focus off any aggression on your prize fish.
 
I would go for it. But, maybe cut out the firemouths. Also, be careful because if your rd and texas pair up... you could have some casualties. It would be interesting to watch though.:popcorn:
