Just did water change and thought I would post my Cichlid team.

Dovii 10 to 11 inch ( local offspring I grew)
Umbee 12 inch ( cichlids of the americas)
Haiti pair 4 to 5 inch (Cichlid Connection)

Her vent was out they lip locked for a good 20 min. They were pretty good together with no divder but I put it back as I left for work. Are these guys hard on the females after the spawn?

Usually once they bond they are fine. I would think if they spawned at this size, you would be ok. It would be different if they were smaller as those bonds are more artificial. I have about 20, two groups of 10 from different lines that I have growing out which I'm getting ready to part with as I have found my keeper male and he has found a few females lol
