I agree with freshwaterpredators, once the haits bond, your chances are pretty good. My pair lived together for about 5 years after bonding, spawning many times.
I would remove the male after fry got to be 1/2" to about 3/4" because they'd start to cannibalize him, and even after an extended separation, there would be a little lip locking and back together again.
Thank you. I started feeding mine crushed flake that was infused with metro upon arrival and they've almost finished that. Once they do ill give the same flake as the rest of my fish. After about a month I added xsmall NLS pellets and that xsmall pellet I recieved from flatfishleo now I just added my combo pellets I feed the rest of my fish room. Getting ready to try some if the southern delight here in a week. I've also introduced frozen krill that I break up for them once or twice a week
