I didn't want to make this post because I figure there is already I post on it but I can't seem 2 find.

I have seen talk of a quick growth or power feeding method that puts some quick size on fish. I am very curious I have some severums that I want to put about an inch on so I can drop them in my big tank.

Please help me!!!!!

The approach I've taken is to find a few foods my cichlid likes and rotate them daily. I don't know how much that helps but it seems effective. The one thing I'm sure of though is water changes. The more frequently you do water changes the faster they'll grow.

feed them 3 times a day n change the food like live pellet the food sticks or blood worms n krill pick up the feedings I've power fed a lot of fish before

Water changes, variety in diet, multiple feedings.

Earthworms!!!

Cut em up if you have to, but they will pack it on FAST!

Worked for my GT and JD, along with 40% water changes once per week

:headbang2

Water changes are just as important don't forget that I do about 2 25% a week and you should feed them a varied diet. Earth worms are great for growth, since there is so much protein, but won't do much for color...

Dont laugh... Earthworms? :nilly: Like nightcrawlers from the bait shop. Or real life earthworms? The ones that keep moving when you cut them in half? If so where do you get those? Should i hit the backyard and go grubbing?:yuck:

any fishing shop will sell earthworms. or yes dig a hole water the lawn well first and youll be surprised how many you find.

Good luck
