I agree variety is the spice, along w/ great water. Also, if you increase the amount of water flow in the their tank just a bit each 7-10 days, just give'em some good/safe resistance, don't blow them out of course, then it seems to give them even more of a growth boost. I think of it like this, their growin babies, feed'em well, keep'em clean & as active as possible (safely mind you) & soon you won't even recognize them all big & strong. Aaawwww that kinda sound's sad, but in a good way
Dont laugh... Earthworms? Like nightcrawlers from the bait shop. Or real life earthworms? The ones that keep moving when you cut them in half? If so where do you get those? Should i hit the backyard and go grubbing?
Yes the ones in the ground. I don't use them yet because nightcrawlers are pretty big around here and hard for my 6" JD to handle. Plus I don't wana risk contaminating the tank with fertilizers etc from the lawn. I go to wal-mart and buy "RED WORMS" The same ones you use for panfish, trout etc. They're anywhere from 3"-5" which is perfect
