Quick Growth?? Need Help!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I agree variety is the spice, along w/ great water. Also, if you increase the amount of water flow in the their tank just a bit each 7-10 days, just give'em some good/safe resistance, don't blow them out of course, then it seems to give them even more of a growth boost. I think of it like this, their growin babies, feed'em well, keep'em clean & as active as possible (safely mind you) & soon you won't even recognize them all big & strong. Aaawwww that kinda sound's sad, but in a good way :) :):)

Dont laugh... Earthworms? :nilly: Like nightcrawlers from the bait shop. Or real life earthworms? The ones that keep moving when you cut them in half? If so where do you get those? Should i hit the backyard and go grubbing?:yuck:

Yes the ones in the ground. I don't use them yet because nightcrawlers are pretty big around here and hard for my 6" JD to handle. Plus I don't wana risk contaminating the tank with fertilizers etc from the lawn. I go to wal-mart and buy "RED WORMS" The same ones you use for panfish, trout etc. They're anywhere from 3"-5" which is perfect
