Quick LED question, please.

I need your thoughts!! Is 2600 lumens x2 spread out going to be too bright? Or should I get two 48" that have less lumens?

I love playing with lighting and feel it makes or breaks a setup so I feel where you're coming from..

I currently have a 48" single bright on my 6ft 135gal and it gives off minimal shimmer. I feel like you'd get more shimmer with the two brighter/shorter 36" units; as the more direct the light is the more shimmer you should have. If you're worried about it being too bright, maybe consider 2x 24" DB fixtures?
