I used to feed thawed shrimp and my vet told me to stop that and add vegetables as they're omnivorous. Maybe too much animal fat in your fish's diet too.

I agree with squint, but not vegetables, but aquatic based plant matter. NLS AlgaeMax is my go to for additional plant matter. Big momma needs to go on a diet. lol

I've never been a big fan of Mazuri anything ........

I understand that it's used by various zoos etc, but the ingredients are still old school, and outdated, with ingredients such as soybean hulls, and fatty acids derived from soybeans, such as soybean oil. This formula is no different - too many terrestrial based plant matter ingredients for my liking. (carrots. spinach, soybean hulls, soybean oil)

Salmon meal, fish meal (menhaden), carrot powder, spinach, gelatin, ground soybean hulls, shrimp meal, fish oil (menhaden), dl-methionine, spirulina algae, soybean oil, salt, dried kelp, etc
