Some of the color changes could be a result of the tig sitting in a white mesh cage. That's unusual (I realize this is temporary) and I, for one, don't know what to expect.

Most fishes pattern change as they grow..

I realised the bars get thicker when I turn off the lights at night. Could be due to the white mesh that caused the narrowing of the bars. However, the Second bar (circled) doesn’t extend back to where it was a few days ago.
