  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have been reluctant to go with an FX5 because it seems there are tons of problem threads on here

I have been reluctant to go with an FX5 because it seems there are tons of problem threads on here Usually human error.

then thats not good. Perhaps Hagen needs to make the filter a little more 'user friendly'. it shouldnt be that hard to set them up properly and run them, yet there are threads on this section it seems quite frequently with hobbyists running into trouble for one reason or another..

the renas are dead easy.

Ya I guess it takes a bit more brains to hook up a couple hoses on the Fx5 and to set the media up correctly....oh, and a little more common sense to NOT over tighten the lid and the clamps on the hoses...

the FX5 is great, i agree with Jgray152

its very simple to setup and run!!! even if ur illiterate u can still learn how to build it, run it and maintain it!!

it comes with a DVD manual for Christ sake!!!!

LOL...

This has been a sweet Thread Thankx for all your imput..
WOW didnt no i would have so many people killing each other over filtration lol

I think that will be my option maybe + my sump
Thanks for everything guys

P.s When this lfp 100km drive away used to be open (Best in Tassie closed due to end of lease and i think they had enough of it) had a 400g tank with a fx5 on it and it looked amazing each and everytime i went they swore by em but yeh.
