Hey I was planning on getting a flower horn cichlid but I don't know if it's a good idea for my tank, I have a 72 gallon tank with 2 geophagus surinamesis, 2 geophagus jurupari, 4 silver scat, and 2 Bolivian rams. All of them are under 2 inches and the smallest is 1 inch, I Plan on getting one around the same size as the others (about 2 inches). Will this work?
CKdrummer thats a terrible Idea. FH's need to be kept alone, they are highly aggressive, I had luck growing a tiny one out with a bunch of peaceful tankmates, but once they hit 5-6" in length they start beating everything up, those Geos will be dead sooner or later and the rams probably sooner rather than later. there are plenty of large cool looking cichlids you could have in with your Geos,
chocolate cichlid
severums
Nicaraguensis
to name a few. steer clear of the aggressive species because the fish you already have are peaceful
