I have a 120G tank with 1 male Jack Dempsey (4inch), 1 Male Firemouth (3.5inch), 1 Male Convict (3.5inch), and 3 Clown Loaches(2.5ich). I want to add another fish, either a Datnoid, GreenTerror, Albino Red Oscar or a Midas. My first choice would be the Midas, but I think he may be to aggresive for the tank. My second choice would be the Oscar, then Datnoid, then Green Terror. I know adding another large fish would add to the bioload, but the tank is very well filtered and a 80% water change is done every week. Let me know which of these fish you think I could add, I will only be adding one but let me know what I could pick from from this list. Im hoping for the Midas but it may be a long shot.

Thanks Guys!!!!!!!!!

Midas = Too aggressive
Datnoid = Too Big

Oscar = Okay
Green Terror = Now we're talking ;).

IMO, the GT would make the best addition, I am highly biased though...

Although this dosent answer your question, it came mind while reading your post. You have all males of some pretty cool fish, why not give them females. One of the most fascinating things that we get from this hobby is watching the cichlids be parents. Just thought I would throw out the idea, good luck with whatever you decide.

I have thought about maybe adding a Convict Female, but my tank is somewhat peacefull and adding a breeding pair may cause a lot of havoc. This may sound dumb but I saw a large male Pink Convict that was like a solid white with a big hump. It did remind me of a smaller version of a Midas. That may quench my thirst for a Midas because the Pink Con had almost the samebody shape, hump and color. Could two Male Convicts go im my tank with the Male Jack Dempsey, male Firemouth,and a Male (striped)Convict. Let me know wut you guys think this mat be a good move.

THANKS GUYS!!!

yeah he could go in there, the cons should be fine so long as there is no females present

and no they look nothing like midas lol , but if it works for you

Yeah well I saw a video on youtube and sure as hell looked pretty close. I know the difference between them believe me, but the body shape and the size of hump reminded me of a Midas, but thats just my opinion Im sure you know a lot better than me. It could of been a hybrid, but the video tag said huge Pink Convict, was probaley a hybrid but who knows, well you do so thanks, I should not compare the two anymore just saw a little similarity. Thanks for the help Guys
