whats the biggest meal a 3 inch Black ghost knife can eat??

I seen it take a few guppies late last night,

what are the chances of it taking out one of my fresh water baracuda?
they are about 2.5 inches?

Will they only eat fish they can eat WHOLE, or will they kill it and eat peices if its to big???

um....... i havent ever had a black ghost before(yet), but im pretty sure that theyre not that brutal. as a , i say that its more likely that the barracuda would pick on the BGK. ive seen my friends barracuda and it looks MEAN.

As for now its more of a mean look then anything,
they stay mid-top water all the time and just eat there guppies when they come, all the fish seem to be getting along, but i heard of Ghost knifes eating things like full grown fancy guppies and other fish of the sort, not sure how big the knife was tho, just dont wanna loose the "center peice" of my tank, my little school of cudas

my bgk is 7.5 inches and he would never touch a feeder size guppy. Someone's eating all the fry, but every fish I have could be doing that. On the other hand, he loves to munch on ghost shrimp--especially the big'uns. He also likes to go after my pinkie.

To answer your question, no tearing (no teeth). Try worms. Mine loves expensive black worms and likes the small red worms you get from bait stores (haven't tried night crawlers yet). No change of it taking out your 'cudas
