Quick question

I can pick up a free 125 gallon fish tank that has a leak in its "joints" can I fix it ? is it worth it? what is the joints?

Joints means seams. Most likely you would have to strip everything and reseal it all.

Depends if you are a do-it-yourself type of person on if it's worth it. Many on here would grab it up.

A simple reseal like you do with an old tank positively would not work?

depends if your internal seal or external seal is failing. External seals are pretty easy, internal seals require a lot more labor and know how.
