quick question

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
that will probabbly slow down its growth even more.. try to get it out of a 10 gal as soon as possible

Actually I think growing out one of the small 1" indos in a ten gallon would be better! It would be easy to do 50%+ wc everyday with a tank that small, and we all know growth is related to constant WCs and good diet.

Id say take him out once he hits 4" and that should be 4-6months or longer!

keeping it in a 10gal is better, i got my 2.5 inch guy in a 10 gal and he is very friendly.
had in in a 46gal and he was scared to even come out so you might get better results from a 10 gal.
my thinbar is even eating pellets now

I would say that a 10 gal is too small. Yes most dats grow slow, but just like people, some grow faster than others and you never know how fast yours will grow. Heres some pics of my fastest growing indo. Starting out at less than 1" now about 4" after only 4 months. I have since moved this one to a bigger tank, but a good way to tell the difference in size between the 2 pictures is by looking at the size of the eyes compared to the body.

My grow out tank is 20gal that is the smallest I would go.
