Quick quick need an answer...Jack dempsey 40 long

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Haha yeah. I just hate that I have to tear up the bottom when it appears to be PERFECTLY fine as is:\

But I've not got the rubbing alcohol spatula and beer...I think I'm gonna waste a bit more time let it get a little more solid then get to work.

I took silicone off my 125 last weekend.

We used the GE Window and Door 1 like suggested...

...?

I've pretty well got my stock set. I might try and find a dither that the wife likes for the new 40, other than that though...not adding more at this point.

I'm starting to feel like this is a ****ing never-ending process. I'm scraping away at that thin layer of silicone and just can't seem to get it to all go away. Part of the problem is that I'm having a hard time differentiating between the silicone I can still feel stuck to the glass, and the silicone thats been scraped off and turned into little tiny balls of silicone that clings to the glass.

I've tried cleaning with a sponge & alcohol, sponge & vinegar water, paper towels with both of those, I keep vacuuming out everything I can...the residue just won't go away. I just busted out a can of compressed air to try and spray it out of the seams and thats seems to be working a bit but its still annoying. I just can't seem to get all of the crap off the glass.

On top of that I feel like I'm absolutely ruining every piece of glass in there with the razor blade. I think all the marks I'm seeing are really just smeared silicone, but still...thats bad enough, I just tried cleaning a spot and seems like its going to be an absolute *****.

I never want to have to do this again. Any NC members wanna earn a quick 30 or 40 bucks?
