I've read keeping tankmates with these guys is next to impossible. Even if the tankmate is too large to swallow, they find a way to break them into smaller, more edible pieces. That true?

How is the aggression towards you? I've heard of them getting mad and attacking the filter inlets just because it was in the tank

well he hand feeds just fine. I have not tried to piss him off though to test his aggression. last tankmate I let him have was a 15" marble shovelnose in a 180, he beat the snot out of it.
