Very good looking fish... love the fins. How big is he?

It's nice you have stuck with him (remembering back to those days when you were so frustrated with him). He has turned out quite well, and a nice reward for all of your patience.

No idea. But any time we leave for a few days his hump is bigger when we get back. No food, no lights, no people = larger hump on him for some reason.

He's always been a weird fish.

he's doing something behind your back

I wish I could keep a single fish in a tank, but I'm too greedy.

That's really wierd, I didn't know that about nuchal humps thanks. I remember the first day he showed up, crazy how different he looks now..

I don't know if it's the same for all fish, it probably just relates to mine.

I think he's in the 8-9" range now. I can't get a good side profile measurement since when you're near the tank he goes head on towards you.

He was very frustrating for the first 6-7 months I owned him. Never eating and hiding all the time. Now he's a pig thankfully.

He's not quite alone, he has a dozen tiger barbs and a few left over baby HRP's from a spawn in our other tank. (If anyone wants them let me know, there are three left).
