yup! always wanted a rimless planted tank with a hanging light fixture :D
 
Before shelling out the bucks for a Sumo rig, check Ebay for a two stage reg. Got mine for under $50. If you need any help with the mods, I'd be happy to lend a hand.

not too much activity. finished all the plumbing and picked up a 10lb co2 tank this weekend. just trying to pony up the cash for the regulator. got a lot of other expenses this time of year :nilly:

it's all i have on my phone right now, and i'm at work. but yes, the pipe goes almost all the way down to the sump. then the gate valve you see is used to restrict the flow to match the pump's output. that along with a durso standpipe is a SILENT sump with no water splashing AT ALL!! all you hear is the hum of the of the pump.

but i'm gonna switch out the gate valve to a standard valve from a water hose hookup, gate valves arent good for fine tuning flow
