I got my heat pads in today:

The box said they heat up too 100f, so far they barely feel warm to the touch.... So insted of plugging them into the power bar, I plugged it directly into the wall. Hopefully that works. They better work, I will be using both for my Macklot's cage once she is a tad bit bigger. Here are some shots of her, 4 months appart. ( tried to take the same kind of picture but it was hard)

It's a Macklots python. It was mentioned to you in your other thread.

Thanks to everyone who repsonded. Both pictures are of the same snake, 4 months apart.

Those heat pads will not get hot to the touch, if you read the details for these products I think they say it uses infra-red or something to heat objects above it rather than just getting hot. They use this as a selling point because you can put them directly in a cage and the animal can lay right on it with no fear of being burned. I have a couple and they work great for kingsnakes. I had a custom built enclosure with a plexi tray that slid in and out, which actually sat a couple inches above the heat pad rather than right on it and it heated the plexi with no substrate on it to like 110 degrees but the pad itself was just warm to the touch like you describe with yours.
