Yes it is, I paid $9.00 for 50lbs of pool sand and about $7.50 per 5lb bag for the Tahitian Black Moon Sand.

He was born like that? Ha. His head has always been flat like that. Kinda makes me wonder sometimes if it's a full blood tex or a hybrid.

I like the lighter color of the setup. It makes the tank look sort of like a desert and the cichlids really complement it.
