  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Someone else maybe able to answer this better than me,but unless your PH is extremely high(test it after it has sat out for 24 hours),I would not worry about lowering it.

:iagree:, fish will do well in any PH as long as it is not terribly low or high. Ph is not that important btw. My ph is always 6.5 and i can't get it up but my fish are still thriving.

ok great guys thank you i just wasnt sure because iv always used well water so never worried about anything like that but wasnt sure if that was an issue or not when using tap water

well ones that would need the softer water would be sevs, BGK and bichir will also be keeping an oscar and pink-tail chalceus which would be fine in normal pH but from what i was reading the others would do better in a softer, lower pH water
I have many bichirs in ultra hard water with a PH of 8.3 currently. They are thriving just fine.

LoL Miguel said he cant get it up.

haha as my friend would have said "THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID" lmao

deja vu x2 lol you posted the same thing twice. lol

yeah i know my computer connection was screwing up and did that for some reason time warner guy was supposed to come by today..... yeah that didnt happen so time warner is gona get a nice little call tomorrow... :)

been living in the city my whole life and I just add dechlorinizer to the tank then str8 tap water. My oscar has been living over 10 years with this method. No probs.

id play it safe and use R.O GLAZER WATER. WORKS THE BEST. TAP WATER TAKES TOO LONG
