I am starting up a new pond and got some laguna bio-booster. I was just wondering do you add it to your water or do you put it in your filter? Thanks!

if it's liquid add to water. If it is some type of granular material then it will need to go in the filter. If it is a fine granular then you will need to put it in a mesh filter bag or pantyhose then put in your filter.

oh and if it is a real bio booster, aka bacteria in a bottle, you will need to add a source of ammonia to the pond for that stuff to work. Depending on how you decide to cycle the pond, fish or fishless, will determine how the ammonia will need to be added......

It is liquid so I will add to water. I think I am going to just add some cheaper fish to the pond to go through the cycle then add my nice koi.
Thanks!!!

I use Cycle, but pretty sure they all do the same.

Any media avail. from other tanks?

Feeders are good cyclers, but QT them so not to introduce your prized fish w/any nasties.
