Quiet one or Rio pumps?

So should i go ahead and buy a a Quiet One? Is it hard to prime, as i plan to have it on a mobile sump.

Do you guys prefer hard plumbing or vinyl tubing?

rio is just as awsome quiet and long lasting

currently i have a RIO 32HF on my 180

for its size and output its hardly noisy

Quiet one pumps are great..and they are just that..quiet.

I have 6 quiet one pumps...haven't had any problems and they live up to their namesakes.

quiet took a dump on me, not even 6 months!! POS!!! mag 18 baby

Crap happens. There's always going to be a few defective ones. I had a mag die on me in 3 months..thing got too hot and melted inside..so the impeller was stuck..it was no big deal. I picked up another mag 700 and so far its running fine. But having had 6 Q1's...haven't had a problem so far and they are definitely quieter than my mag.

I have the quiet one 9000 and have had nothing but problems with it. All 4 of them, actually. I am in the process of having the 4th one warranteed and upgraded to the 14000 model. I guess we'll see what happens.

Oh yeah...hard plumbing. I trust a glued bond over clamps any day.
