so right now im using a magdrive 7 700 gph

heres my setup http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=187325
my durso overflow cant even keep up with this 700 gph so i have a partial return

it works great but its kinda loud so im thinking of getting a quiet one 3000 its rated at 780 gph its 44 bucks and it uses 20 less watts

im just wondering what everyone thinks about this pump
it should be quieter

so let me know

They are very quiet. I have a 400 and a 5000. They both work well.

Small ones are good. Big ones are junk.

Eheim is SILENT...... I have the same feelings about Quiet One as does frnchjeep.

Man, don't tell me that! I was just about to pull the trigger on one! The flow is like 1300+ GPH and it only costs $88.00!

I guess you get what you pay for though!:irked:

I have heard many things against the larger quiet one pumps, like the 9000 and the 14000, but really haven't heard anything bad about the smaller ones. the smaller quiet ones are great. Go ahead and get one.

I have an ancient Q1-3000. Its noisy.

they loose alot of gph with head. I bought a 4000 (1000gph) and when i put it on my tank, i got about 750gph out of it. i was very dissapointed
