Quiet One Vs. Mag Drive

which is better for the money Pentair Aquatics Lifegard Quiet One 2200 for 46$ or the Supreme Mag Drive 3 for 42$ looking to make a wet/dry for my 75 for more bio filtration.
 
The mag drive will last longer but is noisier. It will get louder with time. Be sure to check the pump curves to see which will perform best at the height of your tank.
 
ive been reading that the quite ones dont start after power loss... is this true?
 
no thats not true yesterday my power went out 3 times because of the storms.. they are still working..but i have it on a surge protector...if that helps not sure..but it still kicking...

thats good to hear. my local petsmart sells quite one 2200 for 46 but i work there so i get a discount. and thats the only place ive seen them big als has the 1200 and the 3000, which should i get for my 75 gallon tank with a 1" pvc over flow?
 
How many gph does the 2200 put out? Are they really that much $$$. I bought a quite one 4000 for like $55 I think. I think it is rated at like 1000 gph.
 
I bought one of the 4000's about six months ago, it works well and is definately much more of a "quiet one" then the mag drive i was using.
